Lagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority (LASPPPA) has urged property owners and developers to formalize conversions from residential to commercial use and adjust approvals for additional structures or developments.

LASPPPA issued this in a statement on its X handle on Friday, November 10.

The statement reads: β€œLagos State Physical Planning Permit Authority, LASPPPA had urged property owners and developers to regularise from residential to commercial and also readjust the approval they had after additional structures or development had been done on their property.

β€œThis was noticed after the enforcement exercise by the Monitoring and Compliance Unit of the Authority visited Oshodi, Isolo and Ifako Ijaiye District offices.

β€œThe Authority advised residents to comply with Lagos State Physical Planning Development Law.

β€œOther district areas visited this week were Ikota and Ajah. Build Right, Build By The Rules”
