Isaac Bature Gbaja, an assistant manager with the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in Lafia, the capital of Nassarawa State, has been abducted by unidentified gunmen.

The incident took place on Monday, November 13, 2023, at around 8:00 pm., when Gbaja and two other individuals were taken hostage.

On Thursday, the kidnappers contacted Gbaja’s family, demanding a ransom of N10 million.

Further investigation revealed that Gbaja was kidnapped near MACFES Royal Suites, in Tudun Gwandara, Lafia, Nasarawa State, where he was with his wife.

This event occurred less than a day after the release of Agidi Bulus Ajeh, a member of the Lafia Local Government Council, who was also abducted by unidentified gunmen.
