Popular singer and boss of the Marlian Record Label, Azeez Fashola, widely known as Naira Marley, has slammed a N500 million suit on actress Iyabo Ojo for false accusations and defamatory content against him on the internet.

The lawyer to the singer, Olalekan Ojo, in a letter sent to the actress, highlighted the accusations made in a September 2023 post on her Instagram page, stating that the actress accused Naira Marley of engaging in spiritual and physical dealings with the late singer MohBad.

Naira Marley’s attorney seeks a redress of N500 million from Iyabo Ojo and a public apology to be posted on her page and published in a national daily.

According to the letter, failure to adhere to the condition placed would force them to file a lawsuit against her.

The Nation reported that Iyabo Ojo had called out Naira Marley for various issues like drugging her children amongst others bad things.

The issue began after Naira Marley’s former signee, MohBad died tragically on September 12, 2023.
