Back In History; Wife’s shocking confession in 2021, How Mrs Ngozi Ademoye hacked husband to death

January 6, 2025 2 min read

A chilling confession has left family members and police stunned after Mrs. Ngozi Ademoye admitted to hacking her husband, Mr. Kazeem Ademoye, to death in their Lagos home.

The gruesome murder occurred on Friday at 4:00 a.m. in the couple’s residence at 11, Ahirim Onuha Close, Magodo.

Mrs. Ademoye initially told sympathizers that her husband died of a heart attack, but later changed her story, claiming he was a cultist and that holy water killed him.

However, during police interrogation, Mrs. Ademoye finally confessed that she killed her husband in a fit of anger after he severely beat her. She reportedly used a sharp cudgel to hit him twice on the head.

The family spokesperson, Mr. Adesegun Agbaye Hakeem, expressed skepticism about Mrs. Ademoye’s claim that she acted alone. “She has confessed before the police and me that she killed my brother out of anger… But I am not satisfied that she killed him all alone,” he said.

Hakeem raised several questions about the events surrounding the murder, including who helped Mrs. Ademoye clean up the crime scene and lift her husband’s body onto the bed.

β€œWho helped her to change his night dress and put the red robe on him? Who brought those charms in? Why was she watching TV downstairs after the death of her husband?” he asked.

The police have transferred Mrs. Ademoye to the SCID Panti, Yaba, for further interrogation.

Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Samuel Jinadu, confirmed that she would be paraded before the press at the end of the investigation. “That was callous… Definitely, she will be paraded before the press at the end of investigation,” he said.
