The Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) has released N2.094 trillion in revenue for the month of October 2025 to the federal, state, and local governments across Nigeria.

According to official figures, the federal government received the largest share, followed by states and local government councils, as part of the statutory revenue allocation from the Federation Account. The disbursement covers statutory revenues, statutory transfers, and revenue from oil and non-oil sources.

FAAC noted that the total revenue reflects an increase compared to previous months, driven largely by rising oil receipts and improved non-oil revenue collection. This allocation forms part of the government’s ongoing efforts to meet obligations and fund development projects at all tiers.

Officials have called on states and local governments to utilize the funds transparently and prudently, emphasizing accountability in the management of public resources.
