FAAN Bans ‘Ghana Must Go’ Bags at All Nigerian Airports With Immediate Effect

If you are an air traveller who use ‘Ghana Must Go’ bags, think of an alternative as the end has come for such practice.

This is because the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), has placed a ban on the use of ‘Ghana Must Go’ bags by passengers at all airports in the country.

This was contained in a circular by FAAN, titled, ‘Re: Prohibition of Usage of Ghana Must Go’, signed by Manager, Airport Services, Henok Gizachew.

The ban is particularly for passengers travelling through international airports in the country.

According to Gizachew, the bag was banned by the authority as it had cost airlines huge losses.

Also, he disclosed that the bag had damaged the airports conveyor belt system.

Gizachew noted that passengers who wished to use ‘Ghana Must Go’ to travel must have the same well packaged in carton or hardcover of rectangular size.

The popular Ghana Must Go bag which comes in different sizes is very popular among many Nigerian travellers due to its light weight and capacity to carry more loads.
