First Batch of 386 Ogun Hajj Pilgrims Arrive Nigeria Today

No fewer than 386 first batch pilgrims from Ogun State to Saudi Arabia for this year’s Hajj are to arrive today.

The Chairman of the Ogun State 2023 Adhoc Committee, Dr. Tajudeen Asaye disclosed this yesterday evening.

The chairman, who was full of praises to the governor, Dapo Abiodun, said there was no hitch from the camp of Ogun pilgrims .

Dr. Asaye who is also the Chief Imam of Makun, Sagamu, Ogun State, had announced that Ogun airlifted 1,234 pilgrims for this year’s Hajj, adding that no death was recorded .

While announcing the departure of the first batch from Jeddah, Maddinah, Dr. Asaye said ” the first batch of Ogun pilgrims ready to take off from Jeddah back to Nigeria.

The first batch of pilgrims from Ogun state are 386 and no death recorded.

β€œThe second batch will be at the Jeddah Airport by 5 am tomorrow (Thursday) their luggage has been weighed and packed to the Airport.”
