Friends, Associates Organise Tributes For Late LASU Lecturer, Oso

A day of tributes is being organized to honour the late Professor Lai Oso, renowned academic icon and media and communication scholar.

The event, put together by mentees, friends, and associates, aims to celebrate the life and achievements of the late don.

The event, scheduled for Wednesday, July 12 this year will take place at the OGD Hall in Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta.

The event is to feature various activities, including tributes and special musical renditions that capture the essence of the esteemed scholar.

The organizing committee, led by Professor Dele Odunlami, has collaborated with tertiary institutions in Ogun State offering Mass Communication programmes and professional associations such as the Nigeria Union of Journalists and the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations Ogun State chapters. Additionally, the Ogun State Broadcasting Corporation (OGBC), Ogun State Television (OGTV), Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Alumni, friends, associates, and the Victory Life Bible Church in Abeokuta, where Professor Lai Oso served as a pastor, are involved in the event.

The day of tributes aims to provide a platform for individuals and organizations connected to Professor Lai Oso to pay their respects and celebrate his contributions to the field of media and communication.
