Niger State governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, on Friday visited Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari in Abuja to demonstrate his commitment to supporting President Tinunu’s agricultural agenda.

Umaru Bago shared photos from the visitation on his X handle, on Saturday, January 27.

He wrote: ” Yesterday, I visited the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari at his office in Abuja to further demonstrate our commitment as a State to supporting President Tinunu’s Agricultural agenda, offering Niger State as a pilot state for Agricultural development in the country.

“Agriculture is the way to go as it creates employment, promotes foreign exchange and also ensures food sufficiency. Thus, we have invested so much in Agricultural Mechanization and Technology as well as Irrigation Farming to boost National Policy on Food Security.”
