Ebonyi State Police Command has apprehended Ovuta Chigozie, a resident of Okoffia community in Ezza South Local Government Area, for possessing two human skulls and three locally made guns.

According to Police spokesperson Joshua Ukandu, Chigozie confessed that the skulls were given to him for preparing a spiritual concoction.

“The authorities are actively pursuing the individual mentioned in connection with this case,” Ukandu stated, emphasizing the police’s commitment to unraveling the mystery.

In a separate development, the police have busted a syndicate involved in stealing tricycles from neighboring states and altering their colors. Four suspects – Nweke Chukwudi, Nwankwo Obinna, John Abba, and Uche Abba – were arrested during the operation.

“Three stolen tricycles were recovered from the suspects, who admitted to receiving the vehicles from accomplices for color modifications,” Ukandu revealed.

The police spokesperson assured that all suspects will face charges in court once investigations are complete. “All suspects will be charged to court upon the completion of investigations,” he said.
