Protesters Hit Lagos Streets Over Economic Hardship

Protesters on Monday, hit the streets of Lagos State to protest against soaring prices of food and high cost of living in the country.

An X user, DanielChibuzo8 shared a video of the protest and captioned it in pidgin, β€œThe protest don reach Ojuelegba under bridge. Olopa mount pass protesters. E come be like say na olopa dey do the protest. On this mandate, we shall stand.”

The protesters were seen carrying placards of various inscriptions at Ojuelegba Under Bridge area of the state to make their grievances known on the current economic hardship across the country.
